Your worth is not measured by the pain you endure, but by the strength you find to rise above it.
— Halle Berry, Academy Award-winning actress and advocate for domestic violence victims

Women's Rights Information Center (WRIC) provides support services to over 450 women, and a few men, who are survivors of intimate Partner Abuse every year, and we know this is only the tip of the iceberg. If you are experiencing abuse by a loved one, you are not alone.

WRIC offers comprehensive support and services to individuals experiencing domestic violence, including financial, verbal, emotional, physical, and/or sexual abuse. Our dedicated program provides a range of free services, including case management, emotional support, safety planning, legal advocacy, and shelter/housing referrals. We assist with matters such as child support, restraining orders, custody battles, and divorce coaching. Additionally, we provide job support, benefits assistance, therapy, and support groups for survivors. Our financial workshops, technology training, and Career Closet empower you with the skills and confidence needed for work.

Regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, gender, or legal status in the United States, if you are experiencing domestic violence, WRIC is here to guide you towards a path of safety and recovery. Every person deserves to live free from abuse and violence. Our focus is on what is best for you, and we are committed to offering victim-centered, trauma-informed care tailored to your needs.
